An attempt to dissolve the boundaries between the organic and the technical. Synthetic Eden is a free 3D project that combines algorithmic rendering with an immersive digital jungle full of life and colour. This digital environment was largely created using Blender Geometry Nodes. A node tree system used to procedurally generate 3D objects. Hyper-detailed 3D sculpting, hyper-realism, dynamic wireframe architectures and various organic objects are intertwined here.

Digitally generated wilderness is the centrepiece of Synthetic Eden. An artificial jungle of procedural objects and materials generated by Blender Geometry Nodes. Rigid wireframe structures are interwoven with organic, flowing forms that create tension by attempting to represent biological spontaneity. Vibrant and colourful flora grows from an algorithm, while 3D sculptures mimic the vibrancy of tissue frozen in metamorphosis. Organic objects decay and regenerate in real time like ecological cycles.
